The Clothesline Project is a powerful visual display that is a vehicle for people affected by violence to express their emotions by decorating a shirt. The shirts are hung on a clothesline to be viewed by others as testimony to the problem of sexual and domestic violence. The Clothesline Project collection at University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College has been built over many years by students willing to tell their own stories of Domestic Violence. Annually, the College displays the Clothesline Project on campus as part of our Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
