11/19/2019 - World Aids Day HIV Testing

World AIDS Day, observed each year on is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV, and remember those who have died.


11/12/2019 (Little Rock-South) - Preventing Unplanned Pregnancies

Arkansas has the highest teen birth rate in the nation, and 18- and 19-year-olds account for 74 percent of the state’s teen births. University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College supports the efforts of the State of Arkansas in addressing unplanned pregnancy prevention among college students. Act 943, passed by the Arkansas Legislature in 2015 directs Arkansas colleges and universities to develop and implement an action plan to help students prevent unplanned pregnancy.


10/07/2019-10/10/2019 - Silent Witness Exhibit

October is Domestic Violence Month. A Silent Witness Exhibit representation consisting of life-sized, red laminated silhouettes of the women, men and children murdered in acts of domestic violence from different cities around the State of Arkansas was displayed.

9/9/2019 - 9/12/2019 – Suicide Prevention Week

Suicide is the second leading cause of death for college students. Suicide Screenings, information and resources were distributed to students. Resources, information and screenings were done at the Main Campus and Little Rock-South.
