About the Artist:
Erin Lorenzen's multimedia artwork is interested in the intersections of inner experience and outer environment. Using craft techniques and lived-with materials, she creates pieces that playfully examine the various systems that shape us, probing the nature of the human condition and questioning why we fill our days in such varied ways. Lorenzen earned bachelor’s degrees in Studio Art and Spanish in 2002, and a master’s in counseling in 2020. Her art, yoga, and therapeutic programs have engaged communities through workshops, events, and exhibitions for over two decades. She currently lives and works in Northwest Arkansas.
