The Windgate Gallery has a transparent, professional process for accepting
artists’ work for exhibitions that support the mission of the college.
Mission Statement: To feature professional local artists, with a
special focus on emerging artists, diversity, equity, and inclusion of voices
that reflect our students and support the general education program.
Selecting Artists: An artist’s experience with public exhibitions and
the quality of their established body of work are the most important factors in
consideration. Professional artists are artists who have experience presenting
their work, engaging audiences, and have produced a body of work with which to
stage a complete exhibition. Emerging artists are those which may not have
extensive exhibition experience, but have completed a formal process of artistic
development, such as an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or artist’s
residency, that results in a body of work.
Artist Proposals: Please complete the electronic Exhibit Proposal form
below. Submissions will be reviewed by Kim Kwee,
Associate Teaching Professor of Art and Curator of Exhibits.
