Upcoming Exhibit: Where It Leads by Clark Valentine - Feb. 7 - March 28
Where It Leads explores the experience of mark-making in drawing and the balance between the body and the mind. The artist process is repetitive and meditative, inviting a contemplative awareness from the viewer. UA-PTC will host an opening reception Feb. 20, 5-7 p.m. in the CHARTS lobby. The reception is free and open to the public.
Gallery Information: Admission to the Windgate Gallery is free and open to the public. Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gallery is closed on weekends. The Windgate Gallery is located inside the college’s Center for Humanities and Arts (CHARTS) building on the Main Campus.
About the Artist:
Clark Valentine lives and maintains a studio in Little Rock, Arkansas, exhibiting widely locally, nationally, and internationally. He received his MFA from Colorado State University. He is an Assistant Professor of Drawing at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the BFA Coordinator.
