What is YouthBuild BRIDGE (Building Resilient Industry-Driven Growth and Employment)?

YouthBuild is a construction pre-apprenticeship program designed to help young adults develop the skills, credentials, and confidence needed to launch successful careers in the construction industry. Participants receive hands-on training, workforce preparation, industry-recognized credentials, and direct connections to apprenticeship and employment opportunities. If you are READY to join UA-PTC’s YouthBuild BRIDGE program, complete the YouthBuild Interest Form!

YouthBuild UA-PTC is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor. The YouthBuild UA-PTC program has a total budget of $1,874,336.00 with 75% of YouthBuild UAPTC financed with Federal funds, and 25% is funded by other sources.

How to Apply

Take the first step toward earning a wage while building your future.

1. Complete the YouthBuild Interest Form.
2. A member of our YouthBuild team will review your information and contact you to schedule a program interview.
3. Following the interview and eligibility review, qualified applicants will be invited to join the upcoming YouthBuild cohort.

Program Expectations

YouthBuild prepares participants for successful careers in the construction industry. Construction is a safety-sensitive industry, all participants are expected to demonstrate a commitment to safety, professionalism, accountability, and personal responsibility.

• Participants will be required to provide a drug test prior to acceptance into the program.
• Random drug testing may be conducted throughout the program.
• The construction industry is a safety-sensitive workplace. All participants are expected to understand, follow, and comply with all safety policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Participants will receive comprehensive safety training and will be expected to consistently demonstrate safe work practices throughout the program.
• Participants must be physically able to perform the essential functions and meet the physical demands of a construction worksite.
• Participants are expected to maintain professional behavior, dependable attendance, punctuality, and a commitment to learning.
