The ATI (Assessment Technologies Institute) TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is a required test for applying to the registered nursing program and the practical nursing programs at UAMS and Baptist Health College of Little Rock. The ATI TEAS measures basic essential skills in the academic content domains of Reading, Mathematics, Science, and English and language usage.

The TEAS is given and may only be taken three times in a calendar year. The TEAS is given only at the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College (UA-PTC) North Little Rock Campus (3000 West Scenic Drive). The TEAS is a timed test and takes approximately 3 hours to complete.

If you would like to make an appointment, please go online to www.atitesting.com to register for your desired date and time. The cost of the exam is $102. You will need a photo ID and an e-mail confirmation of payment to take the test.

Questions regarding required minimum TEAS test scores for admittance to a nursing program should be directed to the nursing program director for the school you are applying to.
