Creating a Student Workday Account

Visual instructions for Creating your Student Workday Account and Applying to UA-PTC

STEP 1: After clicking the Apply button at uaptc.edu, click the Apply for Fall 2024 button. After clicking the Apply for Fall 2024 button, you will be taken to a Sign In screen. Click the Create Account link.

STEP 2: Enter your personal e-mail address and choose a password that meets the password requirements. When completed, click the Create Account button.

After clicking the Create Account button, you will be sent an e-mail from Workday Info / [email protected] with the e-mail subject Verify your University of Arkansas System account to the address used to create your account. Open the e-mail and verify your student Workday account by clicking the link in the e-mail.

After verifying your account, proceed with Step 3 below.

STEP 3: After clicking the verification link in your e-mail, a Sign In screen will appear. Enter the e-mail address and password used when creating your account. Click Sign In.

STEP 4: Click the Start or Access your UA-PTC Application link under the Admissions heading.

STEP 5: Click Start My New Application.

STEP 6: Review the applicant type and complete the required fields. When complete, click OK.

STEP 7: You will be asked to complete four short steps:

  • General Info – Asked to provide your legal name and country.
  • Personal Info – Asked to provide your social security number or your taxpayer identification number. If you don’t have a social, enter nine 3’s in the social security field. Do not enter dashes. The issued and expiration fields can be left blank if entering a social. You will also be asked for your date of birth, gender, citizenship status, and if you are a first-generation student (the first in your immediate family to attend college).
  • Contact Info – Asked to provide your legal residence, e-mail address, and phone number (don’t enter dashes).
  • Education History – Asked to provide your High School/Home School attendance/GED or any previous college credit.

After completing each of the four steps, click Next.

STEP 8: After reviewing the information provided, check the terms and conditions option and click Submit. Congratulations! Clicking the submit button completes your admissions application to UA-PTC.

STEP 9: After submitting your application, your completed admissions application will display under the Your Applications heading. If you notice any required actions appearing, click your application to see the required actions.

STEP 10: The required action items will appear under the Application Requirements heading. Click an action item to view more information.

STEP 11: Some action items allow you to upload the required content. If the upload option is not available, information will be provided on how to get the required content to UA-PTC.

Note: You can upload required content and make changes to your application at any time by logging in with the credentials you created.


Welcome to UA-PTC e-mail letter  

STEP 12: After you have created your account and have applied online through the steps on this page, watch for an e-mail from Account Services / [email protected] with the e-mail subject Welcome to University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College to the address used to create your account. You will not be able to proceed with Step 2 until you have received this e-mail which contains login information/instructions for logging into Student Workday.
