UA - Pulaski Tech to host second annual Workforce Summit on Economic Development and AI
University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College will host its second annual Workforce Summit on April 9, bringing together industry leaders and educators to address labor participation and the impact of artificial intelligence on the regional economy.
Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event, which drew more than 170 professionals, the 2026 summit focuses on strategies to advance community growth and attract new business to Central Arkansas. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. in the Grand Hall of the Campus Center Building on the UA-PTC Main Campus.
Attendees will engage with expert panels focusing on increasing labor participation, AI integration, community support, and industry attraction. Following the discussions, guests are invited to tour the college’s state-of-the-art facilities, including the Innovation and Technology Building’s Machining and CNC Lab or the Energy Grid Simulation Lab.
The summit is free to attend and includes a breakfast buffet provided by the UA-PTC Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute. Interested participants must register by April 7 at uaptc.edu/workforce-summit.
