Still searching for that perfect last-minute holiday gift? Ditch the tea towels or socks and give a gift that genuinely keeps on giving- the chance to learn a new skill, explore a passion, or simply enjoy a fun, hands-on experience!
UA-PTC’s Community Education Program just announced a collection of DOZENS of new classes for Spring 2026. Crafty classes include how to make Valentine floral arrangements, the art of stained-glass, or crocheting for beginners. Nature lovers will love to learn about nature journaling or attending one of the many FREE gardening classes covering everything from soils to harvesting. Culinary classes at the UA-PTC Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute include making a Mardi Gras king cake, homemade hot sauce, cooking Indian cuisine, or creating delicious pies, macarons, or other desserts. Other practical skills classes include FREE archery or fishing classes. Or, build confidence and skill in self-defense classes designed for strategic thinking and women's safety.
These experiences fit any budget, and many classes are completely FREE. Give an experience, not just a thing.
