Surgical Technology program open house planned for Sept. 22
Join the UA-PTC Surgical Tech Program in celebrating fast-growing and exciting career of Surgical Technology during National Surgical Technologist Week Sept. 21-27.
There will be a special open house event on UA-PTC Main Campus at the Allied Health (AHEC) Building first floor lobby Monday, Sept. 22, 2-5:30 p.m.
Program faculty will be on hand to answer questions and provide valuable insight about this lucrative and growing career field.
"Our students receive the training they need in only two semesters and are prepared to work immediately upon graduation," said UA-PTC Director of Surgical Technology Kacie Denham. "We are a vital part of the surgical team. A certified surgical technologist's core duties extend beyond providing instruments and supplies. They are the patient's primary advocate, ensuring safety and preventing harm throughout a procedure. It’s an extremely gratifying career"
There will be snacks and goodies to enjoy while you learn how to become a Surgical Technologist! For more information on the program, visit uaptc.edu/surge-tech/about-surgical-technology.
