UA - Pulaski Tech sees Fall 2025 enrollment increase of 7.7%

University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College (UA-PTC) began the fall 2025 semester with a 7.7% increase in enrollment. Enrollment headcount for the first 8-week term and the full 16-week term is 4,825. Classes started Aug. 18, and UA-PTC’s official enrollment data from the 11th day of class will be released to the Arkansas Division of Higher Education.

Additionally, the second 8-week term remains open for enrollment, but currently has another 161 students enrolled. Additional new students have the opportunity to be admitted and enrolled in the second 8-week term up to October 16.

Overall, UA-PTC has seen a 16% growth in enrollment since Fall 2023.

Programs in the School of Technical and Professional Studies include Advanced Manufacturing, Business, HVAC, Information Technology, and many more. Enrollment in select programs includes the following percentage increases over Fall 2024 enrollments:

  • Technical Certificate, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration (HVACR) - 131%
  • Technical Certificate, Aviation Maintenance Airframe - 100%
  • Associate of Applied Science, Drafting & Design Technology - 43%

Programs in the School of Science, Math and Allied Health include college math and science studies as well as many occupational programs in medical sciences, including Dental Assisting, Nursing, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology, and many more. Enrollment in select programs includes the following percentage increases over Fall 2024 enrollments:

  • Technical Certificate, Professional Medical Coding - 329%
  • Associate of Applied Science, Emergency Medical Sciences - 50%
  • Technical Certificate, Dental Assisting - 42%

UA - Pulaski Tech’s enrollment includes students attending the college’s Main Campus in North Little Rock, Little Rock-South on Interstate 30, Aerospace Technology Center near the North Little Rock Airport, The UA-PTC Business and Industry Center, online classes, and high school students taking concurrent college classes.
