UA - Pulaski Tech Paramedic Program Excels in National Rankings
The UA - Pulaski Tech Paramedic program continues its record of success, with recent data from the Commission on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions highlighting its strong performance.
The program's current enrollment of 46 students—including both on-campus and satellite cohorts—places it in the top 7% of paramedic programs nationwide by class size. This is particularly notable as 50% of all U.S. programs have fewer than 20 students.
In addition to its size, the program boasts exceptional student outcomes. The 2023 cohort achieved an 83% retention rate, and students had a 95% first-time pass rate on the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) exam.
"We are enormously proud of our graduates," said Harold D. Shray, Program Director for Emergency Medical Sciences. "These figures highlight both our paramedic program’s scale and its strong student outcomes compared to national benchmarks."
