UA-PTC Sees 250% Engagement Spike with Launch of AI Assistant

UA - Pulaski Tech, in partnership with Modo Labs—a leading provider of campus engagement solutions through its Modo Campus platform for mobile and desktop—has launched MyAgent, a generative AI assistant that’s transforming how students get answers, access services, and stay engaged with campus life.

Developed using Amazon Bedrock and integrated directly into the UA-PTC mobile app, MyAgent allows students to ask questions in natural language and receive accurate, real-time responses based on official campus resources. In just weeks, it has become the app’s most-used feature, instantly connecting students to key services like registration, financial aid, and advising.

The early impact speaks for itself: students are using MyAgent daily to navigate everything from enrollment to campus resources. And with thousands of questions already answered, the assistant is saving time for both students and staff while setting a new bar for AI-driven support in higher education.

Driving Measurable Results

The impact of MyAgent is already proving transformative at UA-PTC. Since its launch, Enrollment & Admissions content in the mobile app saw a 253% year-over-year increase in unique visitors, while views to the “Future Student” persona rose by 140% — clear evidence that prospective students are turning to the app to guide them through the enrollment process.

Students are also increasingly relying on the platform for financial information, with Financial Services content views up 13% in the app and 29% on the UA-PTC website. Thousands of questions have been answered instantly, saving students time and easing the burden on campus staff.

“The consistently high traffic proves we made the right decision by implementing MyAgent into our app,” said Lennon Parker, webmaster and public information specialist at UA-PTC. “Students use it daily to find information about scholarships, financial aid, and campus resources — and it has exceeded our expectations.”

Student Jacob Pachosa echoed that sentiment, calling MyAgent an efficient tool for navigating college life, especially when it comes to locating academic deadlines and onboarding information for new students.

Created by Modo Labs with support from the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Product Acceleration Team, MyAgent uses generative AI to deliver personalized, verified responses drawn from official campus resources. Unlike generic chatbot tools, it’s tailored to the unique needs of higher education—making self-service intuitive, fast, and reliable.
