
Explore skilled trades at the 3M Safety Roadshow March 19
UA - Pulaski Tech will host the 3M Safety Roadshow at the UA-PTC Main Campus in North Little Rock Wednesday, March 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. This special event offers students a unique opportunity to engage with 3M experts and explore exciting career paths in STEM and skilled trades.
The 3M Safety Roadshow is a fully equipped mobile experience that brings hands-on safety training, education, and interactive demonstrations directly to communities across the U.S. and Canada.
This event is designed to educate students and parents about the critical importance of employee safety and to showcase the diverse and rewarding career opportunities. 3M experts will lead sessions covering a wide range of safety topics, including:
- Respiratory protection
- Eye protection
- Fall protection and dropped objects
- SCBA and fire protection
- Construction
- Hearing protection
- Metalworking and welding protection
Participants will gain valuable insights into these vital safety areas through interactive demonstrations and expert-led discussions. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about potential post-graduation career paths and to connect with professionals in the field. Students will have the chance to participate in 45-minute tours, beginning at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., located behind the C Building.
Students, parents, and community members are invited to attend free of charge. The unit is parked beside the C Building on Main Campus.
