Dr. Jeremy Isome joins college as associate provost
Dr. Jeremy Isome joined UA-PTC as associate provost Sept. 7 after 18 years of service at Northwest Mississippi Community College.
Dr. Isome’s previous positions included roles in recruitment, adjunct faculty, assistant dean, campus dean, and division dean of early college programs. During his time, he worked with faculty and staff to reorganize orientation and registration. He also created new community engagement opportunities on campus. In addition, he has previously been active in local chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.
He earned his Doctor of Education in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration at University of Mississippi in 2018. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Delta State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Mississippi.
He looks forward to working with students, faculty, staff, and the local community to help fulfil the mission of UA-PTC.
