Sales tax holiday weekend is Aug. 5-6
Beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, the State of Arkansas will hold its sales tax holiday allowing shoppers the opportunity to purchase certain electronic devices, school supplies, school instructional materials, and clothing free of state and local sales or use tax.
The Textbook Brokers Bookstore on the Main Campus inside the Campus Center Building will be open from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, for students to purchase books and other school supplies tax-free. Books and supplies can also be purchased online at uaptc.edu/bookstore and on the UA-PTC mobile app throughout the tax-free weekend.
Financial aid will be available to students with aid awarded for Fall 2023. Students can review their financial aid availability on the FinAid Portal.
