Students graduate from BIC's L’Oréal industrial maintenance program
UA - Pulaski Tech's Business and Industry Center (BIC) recently graduated five students from the L’Oréal Industrial Maintenance program taught by the college's training specialist, Shaun Everest.
The L’Oréal Industrial Maintenance program was developed through BIC’s customized training program which is specifically designed in partnership with the company to meet their specifics needs. Working with L’Oréal, this 12 week, 30 hour course program was developed to serve as an introduction to fluid power in the areas of pneumatics, industrial electricity, motor controls, programmable logic controllers, robotics, and sensors. Students in the program learned the basic principles of industrial systems level maintenance and were given both classroom lectures and hands on exercises.
This course offering is one of the many ways UA - Pulaski Tech is serving the workforce education needs of Central Arkansas. For additional information or to request custom training, visit www.uaptc.edu/bic/customized-training.
