Sigma Kappa Delta to induct new members
Several UA-PTC students will be inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta Honors Society on Friday, March 10, beginning at 1 p.m. in The Center for Humanities and Arts Performance hall in the lobby.
Sigma Kappa Delta is the National English Honors Society for Two-Year Colleges. The chapter strives to create cultural stimulation, promote interest in literature and the English language, and exhibit high standards of academic excellence among its members.
Invitation to membership is extended by the chapter to students who have completed a minimum of one college course in English language or literature and who have also completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at UA-PTC with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or higher.
The induction ceremony will last about 30 minutes and is open to the campus community.
