Faculty and Staff are particularly vital to our ability to deliver effective career coaching and employment opportunities, given their direct and frequent interaction with students. This collaboration ultimately boosts student retention, builds student confidence, creates valuable community networking opportunities, and helps ensure our graduates achieve greater success.

CAREER READINESS IN THE CLASSROOM

Bring valuable career readiness insights directly to your students by integrating Career Services workshops into your classroom. We offer engaging 45-minute sessions covering vital topics like emotional intelligence, resumes and cover letters, and interview preparation, designed to enhance key career readiness competencies. To ensure optimal planning and approval, workshop requests require a minimum of three weeks' notice and are subject to current scheduling availability. For the best chance of securing your preferred session, we highly recommend scheduling one semester in advance.

  • Pitch Perfect Networking shares the essentials of effective networking and crafting a concise, impactful elevator pitch in just one hour.
  • Build Your Career Fair Playbook shares ways to develop your own personalized "playbook" for success, covering essential etiquette and effective follow-up techniques to impress potential employers.
  • Unlocking Your EQ offers a foundational understanding of Daniel Goleman’s four domains of emotional intelligence and provides suggestions on building up this essential workplace (and life) skill.

Unlearning Urgency Through Rhythm, Reflection, and Rest - This workshop guides participants to explore the roots of modern overwhelm, offering practical strategies to "unlearn urgency" by embracing the power of natural rhythms, intentional reflection, and restorative rest for sustainable well-being.
