Career Closet - Dress for Success

Sunday, April 28, 2024

Dressing professionally for an interview is an important way to make a good first impression and show that you are serious about the job. 55% of interviewers say that interviewees respecting dress codes make great first impressions. And, dressing in business attire when attending an interview is likely to get you the job if your competitor doesn’t put in as much effort as you, according to around two-thirds of recruiters. Over half of hiring managers will disqualify a candidate if they don’t dress appropriately for the interview. Our Career Closet helps students and alumni with presenting a professional image during employer visits, interviews, or on the job. This service and clothing are FREE to all UA-PTC students and alumni.

New and gently-used professional suiting and attire includes:

  • Suits
  • Blazers
  • Sweaters
  • Dress Shirts
  • Blouses
  • Dress Pants
