WAGE Level I Certificates
The Level I WAGE Certificate is designed to prepare adult learners with the essential soft skills needed in today’s workforce. A Career Coach works with participants to explore interests through a career assessment, apply employability skills that address competencies in applied knowledge, effective relationships, and workplace skills, and help transition into post-secondary education, training programs, or the workforce. Adult education teachers provide academic instruction and integrate financial and digital literacy into the classroom. Completing the WAGE Level I Certificate gives participants the skills needed to attain and retain employment.
WAGE Level II Certificates
The Level II WAGE Certificate is designed to support adult learners in choosing a career path within the 16 career clusters. The Adult Education Section’s first phase of career clusters, which are based on high-demand industries in Arkansas, include Business Management and Administration, Education and Training, Health Science, Hospitality and Tourism, Information Technology, and Manufacturing. Adult education teachers provide contextualized learning that enables participants to improve academic skills while learning about a specific career path related to their interests. Learners have an opportunity to earn job industry certifications in and associated with a particular career cluster. Career coaches assist participants in finding employment and enrolling in post-secondary education or training programs
English as A Second Language (ESL) Courses
Students will be provided instruction for beginners to advanced adult English language learners. Students will receive instruction in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, citizenship, and workplace language skills designed to accommodate any language ability. Students are assessed with standardized tests to see their progress and address their needs. Program staff and instructors are trained to assist students with their educational, employment, and language goals.

Nursing assistants provide basic care and help with activities of daily living. They typically do the following:

EKG Technician
Cardiographic or electrocardiogram (EKG) technicians specialize in EKG testing. EKG machines monitor the heart’s performance through electrodes attached to a patient’s chest, arms, and legs. Tests record heart metrics while the patient is at rest or is physically active, such as walking on a treadmill.

OSHA-10 Course
From OSHA basics to common workplace hazards, this course provides foundational knowledge of occupational safety and health standards appropriate for general industry careers.
OSHA-30 Course
The 30-hour training course is valuable for workers of all skill levels in most industries other than construction. This program contains useful instruction for supervisors, senior employees and workers with safety responsibilities. The lessons in this course apply to managers, site supervisors, forepersons, safety professionals and more.

The ServSafe Food Handler Certification is a training and certification program that teaches basic food safety practices. The program covers topics such as:
