UA - Pulaski Tech names Darrell R. Morrison Vice Chancellor for Finance

The University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College has announced the appointment of Mr. Darrell R. Morrison as its new Vice Chancellor for Finance. Morrison will begin his role on January 12, 2026, bringing over twenty years of higher education financial leadership experience to the college.

Mr. Morrison is returning to the University of Arkansas System, having previously served as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance at UA Little Rock (2017–2019) and Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith (2011–2015).

Most recently, he served as the Executive Vice President for Administration and Finance and Chief Financial Officer at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, where he directed all fiscal and administrative operations, including accounting, budget, human resources, and the physical plant. Before that, he held a similar leadership role at Missouri Western State University.

Mr. Morrison holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Henderson State University. He has also served on the boards for the National Association of College and University Business Officers and is a past president of both the Southern and Arkansas associations.

"His experience in finance and administration across multiple higher education systems, including the UA System, makes him a superb choice for this crucial leadership role as we continue to invest in our institution and our students."

Mr. Morrison and his wife, Kelli, are the parents of five children and six grandchildren.
