Melissa Hendricks is Vice Chancellor of Advancement and Executive Director of
the UA-PTC Foundation at University of Arkansas Pulaski Technical College.
Hendricks, a Little Rock native, began in the role Jan. 9, 2024.
She oversees all fundraising and private gift administration and special
event management. She also has administrative responsibilities for management of
the Center for Humanities and Arts Theater and Windgate Art Gallery.
Hendricks has a lengthy resume of success in non-profit management,
fundraising, and grant writing. Her most recent role has been Centers for Youth
and Families Foundation Director in Little Rock, a role she has had since May
2018.
Hendricks has served on the Little Rock Port Authority Board of Directors
since 2011, including serving as Chair 2018-2020. She served on the Little Rock
Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors 2018-2020.
She also served as Grants and Major Gifts Officer at Pulaski Technical
College from 2006 until 2013, prior to its affiliation with the University of
Arkansas System. During that time, she raised $22.3 million through federal and
foundation grant funding.
Hendricks earned a Master of Arts in journalism from University of Arkansas
at Little Rock, and a Bachelor of Science in journalism/public relations at
Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
