Child Care Services for UA-PTC Students

UAMS Head Start/Early Head Start is accepting applications!

UAMS Head Start/Early Head Start serves children ages six weeks to five years old at multiple sites throughout Pulaski County, including at the former UA-PTC Little Leaners facility at 1500 Pershing Blvd. in North Little Rock.

UAMS Head Start/Early Head Start is a federally-funded scholarship program that provides comprehensive, quality early childhood education and support services for families experiencing economic hardships.

Eligibility is income-based. See guidelines at headstart.uams.edu/for-families/poverty-guidelines.

Head Start/Early Head Start provides a helping hand to the following families:

• English Language Learners
• Children with Special Needs
• Homeless Families
• Children in Foster Care
• Pregnant Women
• Applications accepted on location every Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
