In partnership with the Office of Skills Development, University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College has launched a high-quality Secondary Career Center at UA - Pulaski Tech’s Main Campus located at 3000 West Scenic Drive in North Little Rock. Students can earn college credit, a stackable Certificate of Proficiency, and industry credential.
According to the Arkansas Office of Skills Development, career centers are sponsored by high schools, but they are also hosted by postsecondary technical institutes, postsecondary institutions, or an education service cooperative.
UA - Pulaski Tech is a postsecondary institution and is the host site of UA-PTC Career Institute. UA-PTC is proud and honored to host an institute that provides Arkansas students with the opportunity to earn job skills and career preparation that lead to gainful employment after graduation. These programs offer high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit while still in school. Programs are funded by the Office of Skills Development, so there is no cost to the student or their families to participate. These hands-on training programs can be the start of a high-paying career or lay the foundation for future higher education.
We are committed at UA - Pulaski Tech to support this purpose as defined by the Arkansas Office of Skills Development. The UA-PTC Career Institute is ready to assist you in starting your college and career success story too.
