Career Climb is offered through the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College (UA-PTC) Business and Industry Center and connects workforce training with community and industry partnerships. Together, we are helping participants develop the skills they need to succeed while strengthening the workforce throughout Central Arkansas.

Participants can expect the following:
- Combination of instructor-led, hands-on, video, and online instruction
- Support from a learning coach
- Regular deadlines will be outlined
- Opportunity to become OSHA 10 certified
- Mock interviews with industry partners
- Industry Tours
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
- OSHA 10 Certification
- NCRC - ACT National Career Readiness Certificate, Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Level
- Future Fit - Production Operator / Assembler Certificate of Completion

Fall 2026 Schedule:
October 26 – December 11, 2026 Monday through Friday Mon/Wed/ Friday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. and Tuesday/Thursday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided daily through Lunch and Learn sessions. There will be no classes the week of Thanksgiving.
Location of Classes:
Training for the Career Climb program will be held at UA Pulaski Tech's Little Rock-South Site, 13000 Interstate 30, Little Rock, AR.
Cost:
$3,000. Career Climb is approved for $3,000 tuition through the Arkansas Workforce Challenge Scholarship!
Through a partnership between UA-PTC and the City of Little Rock’s Career Climb Program we are connecting young adults (ages 18-30) with opportunities to start the climb toward their career future.
