The Avionics program is designed to provide training and hands-on experience for students new to the field or those who have their Aircraft Maintenance licenses (A&P). Participants will learn to wire an Avionics suite, troubleshoot, and repair wiring issues along with the opportunity to take the Certified Aircraft Electronics Technician (CAET) exam.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Avionics program, the learner will be able to:

1. Recognize avionics terminology, electrical theory, and system operations.

2. Use test equipment to evaluate system performance, isolate faults, and perform repairs.

3. Demonstrate adherence to all safety and regulatory standards applicable to the work environment.

4. Prepare participants for the CAET exam.
