UA-PTC Office of Disability Services Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Counseling and Disability Services is to support the emotional, intellectual, and social development of students at UA - Pulaski Technical College. Counseling and Disability Services provides access, promotes student learning, and enable individuals to develop to their fullest potential by identifying and removing barriers to academic success and assisting students with the development of new skills that will enrich their lives.

About Our Services

Disability Services is committed to providing equal and integrated educational and programmatic access for individuals with documented disabilities. Disability Counselors work one on one with students before classes begin to develop a customized accommodation plan for each student who applies for services. Services provided by Disability Services include accommodations associated with classroom instruction, testing, and assistive technology for completing coursework.

UA - Pulaski Technical College strives to ensure access for students with disabilities is compliant with both the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act, as well as the ADA Amendments passed by Congress on September 29, 2008.

Any UA-PTC student with a disability may utilize services through Disability Services.
