What Type of Student Am I?

First-Time College Student

You have graduated from high school or home school or received your General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

You have never attended any institution of higher education.
(examples: college, university, technical school, barber college)

If you took college classes while still in high school or home school, you are a first-time college student.

Transfer Student

You have taken classes at another college or any other institution of higher education.
(examples: university, technical school, barber college)

Re-Admitted Student

You have previously taken classes at UA - Pulaski Technical College, but it has been more than 2 years.

Transient (Visiting) Student

You are currently a degree-seeking student at another college or university.

You plan to take a few classes at UA - Pulaski Tech and transfer your credits back to your home institution.

Transient/visiting students are not eligible for financial aid.

High School Student

You have completed the 8th grade (or higher) and will still be in high school while you take classes at UA - Pulaski Tech.

Non-Degree Seeking Student

You plan to take classes at UA - Pulaski Tech, but do not want to earn a degree or certificate.

Non-degree seeking students are not eligible for financial aid.

Post-Baccalaureate Student

You have received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

International Student

You are not a United States citizen or a permanent resident of the United States.
